The Chicago Chapter has the longest serving president of 18 years and counting. We meet virtually each quarter on Sundays at 5pm. Our next meeting will be March 8th. If you are interested, please contact the President or Vice President.
Our Chapter pioneered the initiative of substantive meetings and providing care packages to Lane College students during Homecoming in the mid 1990s. We support two major fundraisers each year… “Cultivating Our Future” Day Party in the spring and Homecoming mail/email solicitation in the fall. Our Chapter is a leader in providing mentors for the LCNAA Mentoring Program of the LC Pre Alumni Council and extremely active in representing Lane College at college fairs in the Chicago/Cook County area. An endowed scholarship for Lane College students from Cook County was established in 2002 by a member. The Chicago Chapter, via its membership, is a leading participant and advocate for the Chicago Inter Alumni Council-United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and the Annual UNCF Walk for Education.
